BonChon Chicken Columbia opened last 2018, and I enjoy going here. It's a Korean restaurant and it's currently the closest one to my home which is very convenient because I used to drive at least 18 minutes to Ellicott City in order to satisfy my Korean cravings. Now, I can drive for ten minutes which is a better option.

My first ever order was Takoyaki and Chicken Katsu with coleslaw during its soft opening. Takoyaki is always my favorite and its portion is good enough for one to two person as an appetizer. Chicken Katsu has a huge servings of fried chicken and white rice.

Japchae, Bulgogi and white rice |
Bulgogi and japchae are Bonchon's korean traditional dishes. I and my friend like japchae because its really good. Their bulgogi seems to have a lot of onions, but probably it's a common thing. I ordered it last year, so I'm not sure if it's still the same. The servings are huge again and are good for two to three people.

Boneless wings with pickled radish, Fried Rice with beef and Japchae |
House fried rice is one of the korean traditional dishes. I always enjoy fried rice and it tastes great. We had boneless wings which is one of the 'signature fried chicken' in their menu. We chose 'half & half' which is a combination of spicy and sweet crunch or soy garlic.

Fivestars |
After checking out, I've put my phone number to their kiosk, so I'll get points as a reward of dining. Also, I've saved my receipt for my free upgrade from medium to large size of any Kung Fu Tea drinks which is in the same block as Bonchon. I've downloaded fivestars application from itunes to track my points. These rewards can be only claimed during lunch weekdays.
